PB87 x64: Batch Rename hangs

When I start the Batch Rename function of the Renamer plugin, the Batch Rename window hangs. 
A screenshot is attached. Note the white rectangle instead of the menu bar.
It doesn't matter in which path I start it.
I can Unload the plugin through the Plugins Manager.
With the x86 version, the plugin works fine.
