Windows 8, Sort By Date/Time (Ctrl+F5) Not Working - For DIRS ?

Am I doing something wrong?
Files will sort by date/time, but not directories? They remain sorted in ascending date order?

It's a configuration setting. Panels --> Sort by Time: sort directories by name

Ah, you're likely right.
I must have (not read) what I was checkmarking & when I marked Time order, newer on top & saw the following & just marked that too.

(Had never used that setting before. Have my "normal" settings that I always apply & kind of gloss over anything else that doesn't concern me.)
