I am running a windows 10 VM on a mac using desktop parallels.
I have an issue that confounds me.
When I run altap 4.0 as administrator, altap does not read all the drives that are available for the VM. If I run it normally, I can see all the drive letters.
What gives?
Any idea?
Thanks!
Altap doesn't read all the drives when running in Administrator mode
Re: Altap doesn't read all the drives when running in Administrator mode
ok - I found the answer. I made the change in the registry as described here: https://www.winability.com/how-to-make- ... rk-drives/ and it works now - sorry I thought it was going to work - it doesn't work. I rebooted the VM and I have the same issue.

Are you talking about network mapped drives? Those are usually mapped in user context and hence not available in administrator mode.
