Hi

I'm trying to copy some files from my macbook to my windows 10 computer using salamander.

When i try i get this error "(58) the specified server cannot perform the requested operation".

I can cut the files in salamander, and then paste them using file explorer, but i really like servant salamander and would also like to use it for this operation.

Is there somekind of plugin i need or is it just not possible?

How do you interconnect (what protocol) macbook with windows 10?

An old thread, but may it holds something, "Not enough storage is available to process this command."

Hi tukanos

i'm not sure what protocol i use - i simply shared the folder, went into net:\ and it lists my macbook.

strange i can
- copy a file from my windows pc to the mac, with salamander
- i can copy the same file back again, with salamander
- i can play i *.mov direct from the shared folder on the mac
- but i can't copy or move the *.mov file to my pc via salamander, only via file expolerer

i tried to run salamander as administrator, but that did not change anything.

can it be something with somekind of rights that salamander does not have?

Do the files you want to copy have any accented characters? like ä, ô, ň, š, č etc.

juts for a test, can you rename a file to something like 1.mov and then try to copy it?
