Subject says it all.

One letter folder name makes 3.06 crash when rightclick for property
(or selection for copy when there is a single letter named folder.)

Running on Win8.1 64bit.

I am sure, that its not a Salamander problem you describe here. It must be some shell extension you have installed.
What Tabs do you have in the file properties dialog when it opens correctly? The default ones are General, Sharing, Security, Previous versions and Customize (at least in windows 7 Pro)
Load the ShellExView x64 version from NirSoft, disable the extension and repeat the test.
Dont forget to close Salamander before you apply the changes.
