OpenSSL - libraries problem
OpenSSL - libraries problem
Hello,
after upgrading Salamander from version 2.54 to 3.06 I have found out that sometimes, when using FTP client plugin I am getting the following error:
After further inspection I can say, that the error dialog opens only after pushing Connect button from Connect to FTP server plugin window, when "Encrypt control connection with TLS/SSL" is checked.

Re: OpenSSL - libraries problem
Hi Ivo,
What Windows version are you using? Altap Salamander 3.06 already contains OpenSSL libraries (C:\Program Files (x86)\Altap Salamander\utils\libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll). It looks like some problem with paths.

Re: OpenSSL - libraries problem
Hello Jan,
Thaks for your reply. You are right, the libraries are in this folder. So, do you think is it possible that problem arises because I only unzipped version 2.54 (I guess there were no OpenSSL libraries) and then I upgraded to version 3.06 and no path were set in my environmet during previous installation process?
I usually prefere such clean and portable installations

Re: OpenSSL - libraries problem
We are fixing one problem we discovered recently. AS including version 3.06 doesn't support application shutdown protocol described in Application Shutdown Changes in Windows Vista. It causes problems with AS corrupted configuration like http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3972 or http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3326. We want to have it fixed for AS 3.07. I'm sorry for delay.
