Not sure if errors are being transmitted because salmon.exe is present in my process list but so far it does not do anything

If I'm not mistaken, salmon doesn't do anything by itself. It's started by Salamander, waits in the background and when it crashes, it collects some data and shows a window offering to upload an error report. Does this not happen when your Salamander crashes?
