:? Not sure if errors are being transmitted because salmon.exe is present in my process list but so far it does not do anything :oops:

If I'm not mistaken, salmon doesn't do anything by itself. It's started by Salamander, waits in the background and when it crashes, it collects some data and shows a window offering to upload an error report. Does this not happen when your Salamander crashes?
