Forum language is always jumping to Česky

Post by thomas »

Hi,

can someone please repair the problem with the forums language.
Because my English is bad, but Česky is really strange for me. :)

This is probably an issue with your browser. Please make sure it accepts and keeps cookies from forum.altap.cz

I don't think so, I'm using IE 7 and I haven't problems at other forums.

Have you set the prefered language in the settings?

Do you mean that you had chosen the board language and after next visit, it was back in Czech? Or is it that the option is set to English and the forum still displays in Czech?

In the first case, it is quite certainly caused by the browser not accepting cookies from the forum server. I've encountered some installations of IE which didn't accept cookies from various servers by default (causing inability to send SMSes through a particular SMS gate for example). Please make sure the cookies are accepted (Internet Options->Privacy Settings->Disabled *) and test it again.

In the second case... well, I don't know, maybe you could try cleaning the cookies (should it be caused by a damaged cookie) or using a different browser.
