Can someone confirm the following problem:
- using the "Check Version" plug-in results in an error message stating that the computer "is not connected to the internet", even though it is, and the plug-in has correctly identified the kind of connection (e.g.modem and telephone line), and configured itself accordingly
- after closing the plug-in's dialog box, Salamander stops responding to all input, and the application has to be terminated. No dump files or crash logs seem to be written.
When SS is restarted afterwards, it reports no left-over files etc. from the previous abort.

Start second instance of Servant Salamander. From menu Help choose the Task List command. Select freezed instance of Servant Salamander. Click the Break button. The Bug Report should be generated for freezed instance.
