How do you delete? Using Delete key (move into Recycle Bin)?katsuhiko wrote:only to the window time delay part for popping the msg window up and start delete operation.
After testing it for a while, it doesnt matter if i use Delete or Shift-Delete.Jan Rysavy wrote:How do you delete? Using Delete key (move into Recycle Bin)?katsuhiko wrote:only to the window time delay part for popping the msg window up and start delete operation.
If it is the case, the OLE initialization can be the reason of slowdown.
Try to delete your files using Shift+Delete (using Salamander's routine).

I dont want to use another app to start Salamander just to workaround
the timebombed version. There are some other ways or has to be !
katsuhiko wrote:i only wonder, the other releases RC2 and lower worked just fine (cant re-test it now bcuz it was timebombed)
RC2 works for me. M$ seems to ignore my e-mails :/Jan Rysavy wrote:Katsuhiko, please report this problem to Microsoft, it is definitely their responsibility to fix ctfmon.
Meanwhile, we will try to find some workaround.

Not saying it is your fault, per say, but if this problem does not exist in SS 2.0, but does exist in AS 2.5 ...report this problem to Microsoft, it is definitely their responsibility to fix ctfmon
Unfortunately, we have no idea. I hope we will be able to reproduce this problem on our computers (regular or virtual machines).therube wrote:Or are 2.0 / 2.5 sufficiently different that whatever the interaction between 2.5 & ctfmon is, that interaction simply does not exist in 2.0?
