Problem with a file whose name contains a non-ASCII char

Post by roman2 »

Hi,

I have a file called "EFT Down Under Émotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) And Provocative Energy Techniques (PET).htm". When I try to copy or move the file, I get the following error message: "Error: (2) The system cannot find the file specified." However, SS has no problem opening it in IE viewer.

I was able to cut and paste it with Windows Explorer with no problem... well, it crashed after a few seconds. :) I don't know whether cutting/pasting caused it.

Also, the non-ASCII char in the 4th word in the name is displayed as regular 'E' in SS, while it's displayed as 'É' in Windows Explorer.
