Could you provide more details? You can start with menu Commands > Make File List....

I don't have the "make file list" command in the free version. I am trying to find out if this will allow me to high-lite the folder names i want and then create a list of these folder names and export the list to excel. If I can confirm that this will work in the regular version I will purchase it.

First select the folders to export.
Open the command "make file list":
Use STRG+M or menu/commands/make file list.
Then you can use for example "$(FileName)$(CRLF)"

Download trial version of Salamander v3.0 and follow the steps as written by thomas. Leave Clipboard selected in the Make File List window and press OK. After that, you can paste (Ctrl+V) your list into Excel.
