In the mean time use your 2nd instance to work as a workaround Opening a 2nd one won't eat up alot of memory and only takes a few seconds to start up so i don't see u huge increase in productivity. UAC, Unicode, X64 are more urgent

The Multimedia Viewer plugin doesn't have the field disc number that's why you don't see it.
PLUS i don't see that the URL is shown correctly in your ID3 TAG WWW field "Soundcolours gmbh .... " ??? And those are not Japanese letters but Chinese characters.

The last update goes back to February with a list of finished plugins and the core of salamander. Can you give us a new list of the finished parts?

Loyal fans will not put this fantastic file manager in the shelf that quickly right? :) Jan already said the core has been translated, so what's left are the plugins. All software will always have bugs, but Salamander is a very stable program just like other file managers something we all can agree ...

Many of us are waitng excitingly for the beta release. Can we expect the beta to be ready in Aug / Sept?

Same with therube I prefer the current icons. I certainly don't like the look of the newer UI icons found in SpeedCommander, Krusader, MuCommander, XYplorer etc.

Comparing Salamander 2.5 with other outdated file managers isn't fair. Development pretty much stopped for Volkov Commander and Dos Navigator 10(+) years ago so the new website should be comparing with TotalCMD v7 and a couple of other up to date programs or just leave the comparison out. I doubt it will have any effect, request was made long time ago and i've been waiting for 5 years already. So lets pray they will start working on it after these 2 implementations.
