Re: Portable Altap Salamander
This is a really nice idea :) and very useful. I've worked through the code and made some changes that I wanna share with you; mainly it's improvements in avoiding and handling of errors. There are 2 TODOs that you might want to take care of :) And if you dislike to get status commands, be them pure...

The proposal is potentially dangerous. Imagine situation when first Copy/Move operation will fail (out of space, overwr...

+1, same observation. For me, it would perfectly sufficate to have "only directories" checkbox next to "exclude extensions".ether wrote:+1 I've encountered this imperfection several times, it's annoying little thing on an almost perfect plugin.

I encounter this use case nearly daily. The usual "Wait until other operations are complete" would be fine for me

Re: Add possibility to create NTFS symbolic links
Did you install the 32bit or 64bit version of LSE? As AS is 32bit, it cannot access 64bit shell extensions... I was not able to install 32bit version on my 64bit system Same here; 32bit installer quits with message " This version of LSE is not compatible with this platform. Please download the...

No problem On my Win 7 64 bit, LSE does not work within Salamander; it does not appear at all in the context menu.pjj wrote:I'm not sure what you mean by saying that Link Shell Extension doesn't work within Salamander: for me (XP SP3) it works flawlessly. ... Sorry to rain on your parade.

command shell window: start it as admin via user menu F9
In Win 7, several simple command line commands require higher privileges, e.g. mklink can't be run as ordinary user. Hence, I'd like to be able to start the command shell not only as me, but also as admin. Salamander itself seems not to support this (I searched help & forum). Hence, I tried to s...
