When I need to copy lot of directories, I select a directory, but sometimes I need to check the content of a directory before. So I go into the directory, but when I come back, all the selection is gone. Would be nice to have an option, where I can choose ' Remember the selction for this directory',...

When I copy large files over the network, it's some what slower than copy files via the Windows Explorer.
I think, Microsoft had made some improvements in Win7 and Win2008 to allow faster file transfer.
I don't know if there are any new API's or something other.

Mapping the .ps1 extension to PowerShell.exe will not be enough.

Thanks for the plugins.

It seems, that they don't work anymore with 2.52 beta 2 (JSON and Flash neither)

even though it's noted in the release notes:

Altap Salamander 2.52 is now backward compatible with plugins for versions 2.5 and 2.51.

It seems that Salamander hasn't the higehst priority to Altap. I think they don't earn enough money with the Salamander product, so they need to do other work first. I'm a paying customer and have bought more than my needed licences (to support her work). But right now, I should already use version ...

Often I get an error when I try to unzip an archive:
"Error: Cannot extract file because of too long path name".

The path is longer than 206 chars, perhaps longer than 255.

Will this be fixed?

As normal user, I added the share myself with appropriate rights

If I'm using administrative UNC share like \\server\c$\SubDir, I can't drag and drop files, also copy and paste doesn't work. All action are done in the same window and from a subdir to the parent dir.

I'm using Vista with Win2003 and AS 2.51.
