Jan, would be great if you could add it.

Request: Remember selection of files/dir
When I need to copy lot of directories, I select a directory, but sometimes I need to check the content of a directory before. So I go into the directory, but when I come back, all the selection is gone. Would be nice to have an option, where I can choose ' Remember the selction for this directory',...

Request: Faster file copy
When I copy large files over the network, it's some what slower than copy files via the Windows Explorer.
I think, Microsoft had made some improvements in Win7 and Win2008 to allow faster file transfer.
I don't know if there are any new API's or something other.
Thanks for any explanation
Eric

PB 44: Automation script and PowerShell
Will PowerShell as scripting host be supported?
Mapping the .ps1 extension to PowerShell.exe will not be enough.
Thanks

Re: FLAC Viewer Plugin
Thanks for the plugins.
It seems, that they don't work anymore with 2.52 beta 2 (JSON and Flash neither)
even though it's noted in the release notes:

Re: Is Salamander development still active?
Second beta version of AS 2.52 was just released. We plan to release final version 2.52 this month. Thanks for the beta, Jan. This month? Do you mean August or September? I'm desperately waiting for UTF8/16 support (because Drag&Drop doesn't work, Directory Size fails with error, etc). Perhaps ...

Re: Is Salamander development still active?
It seems that Salamander hasn't the higehst priority to Altap. I think they don't earn enough money with the Salamander product, so they need to do other work first. I'm a paying customer and have bought more than my needed licences (to support her work). But right now, I should already use version ...

AS 2.52 beta 1: Unzip and long paths
Often I get an error when I try to unzip an archive:
"Error: Cannot extract file because of too long path name".
The path is longer than 206 chars, perhaps longer than 255.
Will this be fixed?
Thanks
Eric

What's the problem with Vista and Windows 7 ? For my part I have used Vista since the beginning with pleasure, and it is huge step better than XP and Windows 7 will be still better than Vista. But this shouldn't be a topic here. I installed the new AS beta and it is step forward. I agree with the ot...

Problem with admin UNC Share
If I'm using administrative UNC share like \\server\c$\SubDir, I can't drag and drop files, also copy and paste doesn't work. All action are done in the same window and from a subdir to the parent dir.
I'm using Vista with Win2003 and AS 2.51.
Could you verify?
Thanks
