Re: Crash of AS 2.53
About 280 chars. When I try to rename the file, I get a warning because "of too long name".

Re: Crash of AS 2.53
Here is a screen dump.
It doesn't really matter which values, I tried to change the arguments or inital directory. I used another command (notepad++).
Same crash.
Thanks

Crash of AS 2.53
When I try to open a file via an application defined in the User Menu (Video, Text File), AS crashes.
This happens when the fullpath of file is too long.
Thanks

Re: What next? Vote please: x64 version or UAC support
Same for me. I'm also praying since years.
And this year seems to be a good year, betas and a release during the same year.
But AS is such a great and nice tool, so I stick with it.
It's like a very good, expensive wine, which is getting better each year.

I prefer to express my opinion, perhaps it will show some effects, some reconsideration

Re: What next? Vote please: x64 version or UAC support
IMO, Unicode support is much more wanted than both x64 and UAC features. Implementing x64 support is waste of time when the application is just unable to work with international characters in folder and file names. Same for me, even if this topic doesn't belong in this thread. 1. Unicode 100. UAC 1...

Checksum plugin "auto recalculate" for verify cmd
Would be nice if the checksum plugin (verify) supports "auto recalculate". More exactly: adding something like a FileSystemWatcher as in .NET, when a underlying file change, the checksum is recalculated. Now I need to close the plugin and redo the verify. If this is too much work, adding a...

Re: Checksum plugin: Blocking files?
One of those I haven't installed.
I have TortoiseSVN, PowerArchiver, perhaps Snagit 10. So I can't tell.

Re: Checksum plugin: Blocking files?
Yes, could be.
But there are not other process loaded into AS (process explorer would show it as child process), and the file is only locked by the AS process.
Thanks

Re: Checksum plugin: Blocking files?
Hi Eric, I am unable to reproduce the problem. Did the verification finish before you closed the Verify window? Were there any errors reported during the Verification? Hi Jan, Yes, the verification was finished. I closed the plugin and then I tried to move the directory (where the files are) -> Err...

Checksum plugin: Blocking files?
After using the checksum plugin (Verify) and closing it, it seems that a file handler stays opened. I'm using it over a shared network folder, and it happens nearly everytimes (for larger files). I checked it with process explorer and it shows a file handler (not closable). AS 2.5.3 Beta2 Win 7 (64B...

Re: Missing context menu for Tortoise SVN
I have no problems with TortoiseSVN 1.6.x and AS 2.5.3 beta 1 & 2.
The only problem was the missing overlays with 1.6.8, but this is a problem with TortoiseSVN installation (mentioned on the TortoiseSVN site).

Re: Request: Remember selection of files/dir
Great, didn't know that.Tomas Kopal wrote:Or you can check Ctrl+Shift+F5/Ctrl+Shift+F6 to save and load the selection before leaving /after returning to that directory.
Seems I'm not a power user at all.
RTFM.
