Bug: submission order of multi-file selection
I selected several mp3 files in Salamander, right-clicked on one of them, and selected Play in Winamp. The files got inserted into Winamp's play list; however, the first file in the play list happened to be the one I clicked on in Salamander, which was out of desired order. The selection should be a...

Wow! I didn't know there were so many issues with Unicode support. How do other software vendors handle this? Do they all deal with this or do they use a library to help them? Does Salamander bring enough money from Win 9x users to justify continuing to develop new versions for them? It shouldn't be...

Yes of course, i can always install a Operation System that doesn't support all of my hardware. Because I haven't encountered a piece of hardware that requires 64 bit support, would you tell me which one or two you use that do? I am not saying there isn't one. I would just like to know. I hope you ...

When I was looking for another external drive, I came upon a review by one user who said he'd had problems with a particular drive: many files would be corrupted. I think (or hope) some of these problems could be detected during the copy/move operations. According to him, the problem was in the encl...

Extra clicks and key presses are important. And your way requires selecting files to be compared after the operation. That's prone to mistakes (because files can be missed). That's in addition to click/press overhead. It's MUCH easier to select files, press F5, check the verify option, click OK, and...

ino, I am aware of these options, but neither are convenient enough. I just to be able to copy/move files and be sure that the operation took place correctly. The options you suggested would take even longer than what Tomas said would be required for operations with the verifying option. Tomas, how ...

Much more often than what you suggested, I am sure. Your suggestion requires an extra step (or several), but mine -- only setting an option. And these extra steps are out of the question for non-geeks. I, for one, want all my file copying/moving to be as reliable as possible. And I want other people...

Verfication during/after copy/move
According to http://www.ss64.com/nt/verify.html, Windows is able to verify file copy/move. Does/can Salamander verify correctness of these operations?
