I'm very sorry, we've been dealing with some health issues in the family. Open Salamander is now released and we look forward to its further development on GitHub: https://github.com/OpenSalamander/salamander

We apologize that the open source version of Salamander took longer than we expected. We have renamed the project to Open Salamander and posted the source code to the https://github.com/OpenSalamander/salamander repository.

Further development should take place on GitHub.

We'll be releasing a new version of GEO5 at Fine this week and the final touches are being made. We also had some health problems, so we missed the Salamander release date. But we are back and we would like to release Salamander after GEO. Thanks for your patience and sorry for the delay. By the way...

We'd like to release it at the end of April.

OK, we got the green light in Fine to release AS open source. We need some time to review the code and prepare the release, we'll start working on it in the evenings.

Projekt je ve VS2022, jinou verzi VS ani na počítačích nemáme.

Kód rozhodně není žádná krása, bohužel není postavený na kombinacni C++2x, STL (stringy, kontejnery, alogoritmy, ...), exceptions, RAII, WIL, kterou nadšeně používáme pro aktuální projekty.

TYJO, tak daleko jsem zatím vůbec neuvažoval, right-to-left... Díky všem za pozitivní reakce, zkusíme to zrealizovat. Windows Explorer je pořád stejný odpad, jako když jsme se Salamanderem začínali. Kopíroval jsem teď fotky z iPhone do Windows 11 přes USB kabel a náhodně mi mizí kopírovací progress ...

Anyone interested in native ARM64 version?

Je tu někdo s dobrou znalostí C++, kdo by měl čas a chuť spolupracovat na open source verzi Salamandera?

Is there still anyone with a good knowledge of C++ who has the time and motivation to collaborate on an open source version of Salamander?
