Confirm DELETE
Hi - I recently installed Altap Salamander 3.02 x64 and for some reason cannot figure out how to get a prompt for file deletion. I had 2.5 + Beta 3 installed and was prompted YES/NO for file deletions - so I obviously had *whatever* settings properly configured at that time. Under 3.02, I do have th...

Re: Why do you need my address?
I'm going to pass on upgrading for the time being. 2.5 is working well enough and I really am striving to not share unnecessary information. .. but I'm really trying to encourage sites to request less info by default. Not in your job description! In the meantime, you are missing out on the version ...

Re: GZ File Decompression
Hi Jan. . .
I will be glad to provide access to the GZ files; however the info is of a sensative nature.
I'll send the info to you privately.
My apologies, as I know doing so defeats the purpose of public forums, but no alternative in this case.
Regards. . .
John

GZ File Decompression
Hi -
,gz files are not decompressing fully; no error messages.
GZ files are ~45 MB
Uncompressed ~400 MB
I'm getting partial un-GZ files ~ 15 MB with PB87.
I am able to un-GZ the files with other 3rd party apps, but don't like that option.
Thank you. . .

Re: Is Salamander beta 1 slower?
If anything, I find Altap Salamander 2.53b1 to be faster - more responsive than 2.52.
So far, running on Windows 7 x64, Windows 7 x86, Vista x64 - no problems whatsoever with 2.53 b1.

Excellent job on Salamander v2.53b1
So far no issues running on Windows 7 x64 (or x86, of course)
Access to \sysnative is awesome
Very nice "shortcut" indicator on \system32, \sysnative and others.
Thank you !!

Re: Registry View Sorting v2.5x
` I found a work-around for sorting the Registry; not sure if it has been mentioned or not. I go into the Registry, then go into c: or d:, etc... in the same panel, then sort it by date, then in the same panel again, click back on the Registry -- and now it is sorted by date as well.
