the definition of the link says: A megabyte is a unit of information or computer storage equal to approximately one million bytes. Which means not exactly a million. Just check the property of a file (choose a file smaller than 1 MB) it shows you the size in .. KB (...bytes). A very simple calculati...

Wrong, 1.000.000 bytes isn't 1 MB.
But yeah i would like to vote for "KB/MB/GB" display in the content information line as well.

What Josip wants is customizable size display, like KB/MB/GB If you select files + dirs you won't be able to see the total size of the selection. It will only show you how many files/dirs are selected. You will need to right click on i...

Thanks Jiri.
Someone posted this request in an earlier post with topic tree view.
He suggested it displaying all files in the 2nd panel. Like you guys i prefer displaying everything in 1 panel so you can still drag and drop using the 2nd panel.

i created a small jpg for this idea. Anyone here wants to put it online? i don't have webspace. Let me know and i'll mail it to you. I think this feature request is worth to build inside SS. Though i wouldn't want to use it on the C root since windows has lots of dirs and thousands of files. Not to ...

configuring SS

hi,

Is there a way i can open txt files very fast in SS. Cause notepad is very slow here, taking about 15 sec to open.

Plus how do you configure SS to change an external editor instead of using notepad?
