Agreed.Which is exactly the reason why Explorer's file-selection is so useless. ... Bottom line is that the original file-selection behaviour was one of Salamander's great strengths over Explorer

In addition, if you have multiple instances of SS open, you must close those that may still have Save On Exit enabled first, then manually Save Configuration on that last remaining instance.
