Re: Offender Plugin
-focus (or better select) first process in Offending processes listview (now it seems no process is selected but when I click Terminate, the first process is terminated) The selection does not matter. Windows Vista Restart Manager always shuts down all the offending applications (or at least tries ...

Re: Offender Plugin
I didn't realize this existed. I just added it and I cannot figure out a way to kill tasks as in this snapshot. You're right, you cannot kill a process through TC Proxy since I didn't bother to implement the Delete (F8) function yet :) I will add it. Yes, you are right, it can crash another applica...

Re: Offender Plugin
How about a universal plugin to work across platforms? I consider this as an option for the future if there's interest. A task Manger for Salamander would be awesome. What do you mean with task manager? Can't you use TC Proxy with ProcFS for example? Any feature missing? One question, is it ...

Offender Plugin
Offender Plugin displays list of applications that locked a particular file. Simply focus the locked file in panel and select Plugins > Offender > Find Offending Processes or just press Ctrl+Shift+O. You can then Terminate all the offending processes and then perform the required operation on the f...

Re: Service Explorer Plugin
It looks like Side-by-Side assemblies are not supported on Windows prior to XP. So it doesn't look like option for us right now. Since DLL loader prior Windows XP is not aware of manifests, copying CRT on search path should be enough. Just putting CRT into the directory from which the application l...

Re: Service Explorer Plugin
I tried linking against msvcrt.dll using WDK build environment but it's definitely not worth the effort. Who cares about few hundreds kilobytes today. Moreover we'll switch to salrtl in near future.

Re: Service Explorer Plugin
The only drawback would be larger plugin, until we will switch to MSVC 2008 Compiler/RTL with Salamander. That's arguable. When linking statically just functions actually used by a module are linked in. For example in TC proxy this adds roughly 100K to the resulting file. On the other hand the whol...

Re: Service Explorer Plugin
Maybe Mike could link to CRT statically and thus effectively eliminating the dependency on dynamic CRT that needs to be installed in side-by-side cache.

Re: My own computer is missing
I saw this once or twice on Windows Vista.
What operating system are you running on? Do you have the Network Discovery feature enabled (if on Vista)? Also, how about the Windows Explorer in this situation?

Konečně to umím sám reprodukovat. Máte vypnutý prefetch (Scan network on start of Salamander), co?
