PictView: ScreenShot tool issues - bugs
Moved from http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?p=6253#6253 "Screen capture => Foreground Application " has a flaw (see screenshots attached). It does not care about dialogs, so it captures only the Salamander rectange and ignores the dialog that is part of Salamander. Even though when dial...

Re: Please use correct IEC standard prefixes for sizes

Well, that approach means noone will ever start and the mess remains :-( As implied in http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?t=1485...

Making trial users buy
Hej, at http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?p=4040#4040 stands concerning adding features to the freeware version in order to make Salamander more popular: >I would'nt push the freeware version. I think 20 US$ are an adequate price. I fully agree as the trial with full feature set can be used even l...

Show _real_ Hotkeys, not the ones for en locale
Some other hotkeys as well are shown in the menu with another key than actually has to be used. Could Salamander display the keys the user actually has to press in the current locale, instead of the english locale ones? That'd help to learn & remember them...

Hello all! > i do like the 'Salamander' though and don't really see that as a name. There's a shoe store chain in Europe called Salamander (see http://www.salamander.de/). Without any additional word. The name can't be that bad when used by big enterprises (>200 stores, 1 billion € turnover) and ver...

FTP Configuration: Combine the two keep-alive options
Hi *, I was a little confused today: after some 300secs the connection was closed even though "FTP Configuration - Defaults" showed me "send NOOP" and "stop sending after 30 minutes" for keeping connection alive. After having a more detailed look, I found that "FTP...
