Re: 252b2 - FTP won't connect with changed ports
I just tested it again. All I did is set up a normal FTP connection and changed the port to 10156. I connect but when I try and get the directory listing, I get this: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/4112/er1r.jpg http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/9503/er2x.jpg I tried playing around with different s...

Re: PreDefined Shortcuts - My Desktop
Here you go...it's real simple. Just one file in conjunction with a REG. It's a slightly modified version of the one posted in the other topic area (I will also place this there). This is very simple to use. If you take the code below and place it within your salamander folder and run it, if the fil...

Re: PreDefined Shortcuts - My Desktop
Thanks...noted, but that is not as easy of loading up a generic configuration. I have converted the BAT file into a generic exe file for this portable version and all I need to do is drop a reg and exe file and salamander is portable.

Re: PreDefined Shortcuts - My Desktop
$(WinDir), $(SysDir), $(SalDir), $[EnvironmentVariable] variables will be supported in Hot Paths from AS 2.52. Thank you for your ideas! On a similar function....I've been playing around with a portable version of salamander using the BAT file posted here: http://forum.altap.cz/viewtopic.php?p=1462...

Re: Offender Plugin
A task Manger for Salamander would be awesome. What do you mean with task manager? Can't you use TC Proxy with ProcFS for example? Any feature missing? I didn't realize this existed. I just added it and I cannot figure out a way to kill tasks as in this snapshot. http://forum.altap.cz/downlo...

Re: Offender Plugin
I was looking for something like this...but don't use Vista. How about a universal plugin to work across platforms? A task Manger for Salamander would be awesome.

Re: Service Explorer Plugin
I like your thinking Jan. Though I can see this PlugIn to be very useful, it will have limited use do to the fact that it needs another piece of software installled....especially when I use Salamander as a portable version.

Re: FTP Search / Archie
My Bad...I thought it was about the FTP client/ In either case, leave it in there and work on the issue. I just used the search and got a result back. I would suggest have a public beta for the plug-in to get the issues resolved.
BTW....CuteFTP does have a FILE and MP3 search feature.
