PictView thumbnails problems crashing salamander
Hello! On http://www.altap.cz/salamander/downloads/eap/ you requested "Please focus on testing PictView plugin with your images.". I did use 3.0 beta 1 (PB87) (released 7/27/2012) on my Win 7 home premium 64bit German for 2 minutes and found 2 bugs in PictView: 1) The well-known bug that m...

Re: Which features?
This thread mostly contains talk about unicode. Tough this is not minor, I'm afraid a reaaaally important point of the initial comment could be forgotten: As mentioned on http://www.altap.cz/salamander/roadmap/, the final version of Altap Salamander 3.0 will contain these features: * Switch to Micro...

Re: Moving files to SUBST'ed drives
+1 as I'm extensively using subst (makes paths much shorter and many programs remember 1 directory per drive letter so with subst you've more remembered paths) and some symlinks

Re: Delete with options ala copy/move
+1 for "delete system / read-only / whatever without asking". Would be especially nice for operations I expect to be running long and thus let run unobserved e.g. while I'm eating - it's disappointing to come back and see the operation paused at 1% just to be confirmed AGAIN... I like the ...

Re: Automatic Retry
+1 for automatic retry (usually happens when delete from X: is slower than parallel copy to X :) -1 for automatic "skip all" as it seems to be too dangerous in my eyes as "auto skip" would lead to non-deterministic behaviour. If it will be implemented, I am extremely interested t...

Re: Make File List: Provide a sensible default template
+1 as I'm preferring first pressing Num / and then entering dir /b/s >__.txt and copying it's content to clipboard as I'm quicker that way than with File List command in Salamander Is adding a useful default as quick + easy to do as I imagine it?

Re: Concerning $(Time:HH:mm:ss)
The default value comes from your locale settings in your operating system. As most nations have colons inside the time specification it might be usefull to implement some post-processing of these locale dependent values returned by OS. I have this fix alerady at my todo list. Lukas, it seems to be...

Re: PictView: ScreenShot tool issues - suggestions
For me, this does not have priority any more and may be closed. For the last 2 years, I used PictView only a few times for screenshots as its workflow requires much more clicks etc. than my other screenshot tools, especially if I need to annotate (add a rectangle or the like). I use ALT+INS for quic...

Re: Restore Selection (Ctrl+W) improvements
After nearly 6 years, in v2.54 still as reported. Fixing issue 2 seems to be much lower effort and would address the majority of cases I'd need ctrl+w. If possible, the selection memory shall not only save the last state over all directories, but it shall be a map, so ctrl+w shall remember the last ...

Re: PictView thumbs buggy - only some shown
Two years now. What's the result of your analysis? A fix would be nice; currently for image folders I can't use salamander as up to a third of all pics have no thumb displayed

Re: Date inserted by hotkey
Scripts executed with the Automation plugin (see Plugins > Automation menu) are available only from the main window of Altap Salamander. Well, then it is required to build the hotkey into Salamander core, as providing the desired functionality via Automation is not possible (contradiction to post o...

Nag Screen for plugin despite existing license
Since updating to Salamander 2.54 I get a nag screen for PictView Plugin. I thought I've purchased a license for it, so I clicked Menu > Help > About Salamander > "How to purchase additional licenses", entered "Product ID" and "Upgrade Code or Owner", and got under &quo...
