Re: New EAP Build (PB 75 expires May 1st)?
We plan to release AS 3.1 with UAC support and x64 build of Eroiica Viewer. Then we would like to work on Unicode support - we are missing it too. Jan, is it quite complex implementing these 2 features and how many estimated months of development is needed? I have been missing Unicode for years alr...

strange bug
I have just encountered a strange bug when i was moving files between 2 Salamander windows. Both instances had thumbnail views and not maximized screen overlapping each other while i was dragging a file from one instance to another. I've attached the rar file for reference.

Is UAC the next feature you will be working on and then Unicode after the release of version 3?

dot file extension
Lately there has been lots of discussions about the FLAME spyware. It uses a dot file extension which isn't visible in Windows Explorer. Does it mean that AS also won't be able to reveal this file? The article can be found here http://labs.bitdefender.com/2012/06/flame-the-story-of-leaked-data-carri...

Re: Which features?
I have files with unicode names so to me that's more important than internal viewers with unicode support. For others it's the other way around, but i agree with Ether that the core should be done first. It looks weird if the viewer can display unicode text but the file manager can't show the file n...

How's the progress fixing the slow data transfer bug? I believe you want to get it fixed first and then release the EAP version.

Re: Little typos on the new website
This is off topic but i don't understand why the same page is used multiple times as alternatives for other file managers?
Some file managers already support features that are still in your roadmap. Other than that the new site looks great

With all the plugins now finished perhaps we can hope that the release will make it by the end of this year.

Re: Shred files in the background
Ofcourse development will not be stopped and more great feature requests should continue to be made. That's why i said in the mean time he will just have to use 2 instances while urgent things have higher priority.
