are you sure that is the case? To me it looks like explorer is displaying crisp 16x16 icons, while AS is trying to scale them... (but I might be wrong)
it is at least not the 16x16 icons that are in the icon file(s) (which I want to display) - but it might be 32x32 icons that are scaled to 16x16.

odd icon scaling
Hi, AS 2.5 running on Windows Vista Ultimate, 32-bit, with large fonts. I get some odd problem with the icon scaling, where the icons in the detailed views are rendered differently than in Explorer - and/or how I want them to be. See screenshot for an example. Any way one can get around this, to dis...

creating archives
I am sure there is an easy way to create a new archive, isn't there? To be able to highlight a few files and zip them up?

copy sfn - short file name/path
Hi, I am using a legacy application a lot, that is cross platform etc. Unfortunately it doesn't support long file names and paths fully on windows - at least not ones that have spaces in them. I would love to be able to copy the sfn version of a long filename, e.g. so that c:\documents and settings ...

Another annoyance related to the windows mobile plugin is that it can lose connection, and then one has to kill the Salamander process alltogether to recover... (the windows mobile plugin get locked up in some infinite loop of message boxes...) - maybe I should submit this as a bug report instead......

ftp - tasks/queue management
Hi - for the ftp plugin/client - please consider implementing functionality to "wait until other tasks" like on ordinary copy/move operations - so that one can manage the queue more efficiently. Ideally I would like to see a queue pane or window with all existing tasks, and priorities. :) ...

Hi, I'll second that the mobile device/activesync plugin is really cool, and I love it - and I would love to some of those features implemented in Salamander. Although, I would have to say that I wouldn't put them under that high priority, compared to other features... But the main thing that I thin...

RC3 - lost settings when rebooting
Hi, I have seen this multiple times now, and it is quite annoying - I have rebooted computers, and RC3 says that the settings were lost when it tried to save them, and I need to re-import the settings from RC2. Is this a bug?

subst and moving files
Hi all, I am a long-time Salamander user, and I totally love it. Here is a small feature request, that I think should be reasonably easy to implement... To get to some of my folders more quickly, I use the subst command to map them to drive letters. For instance I have my "home folder" (c:...
