Is the virtual scrolling working with other programs than Skype and Salamander when run as administrator?

Maybe you have different settings for the Synaptics driver under the administrator account?

Regular expressions are available only for the file content search. You have to check the "Search file content" check box to see the "Regular expression" check box.

You can recall the last settings with Ctrl+L (Options -> Last Used).
