It's simple, if you don't like it don't use it. Some people sure demand a lot. They pay for 1 single license of a product from a very small company and start comparing it with MS. Don't forget you get free upgrades until Altap switches to the next version. You get support from the developers while t...

Looks good Jan.
This task "Copy/Move/Delete operations: display estimated time and transfer speed" can be checked as done.

So if SS 2.5 final will be released in April, when do we get to see what bullets in the roadmap will be in development for SS 3.0?

I don't use the wizard on other applications (always disable the wizard) but i can imagine that users who are not familiar with it might want to have a wizard to guide them such as guest and his daughter for example.

I highly doubt that any new users will think Salamander is too simple and immature. You could ship the package with beginner level choices (configuration) made but put a button on the top toolbar that takes the experts directly to the configuration dialogs. That might work quite well. I disagree be...

KNUT for more info you can look at this http://www.flos-freeware.ch/txt/notepad2.txt I thought Altap was gonna rewrite their own text editor, anyway if you browse the threads some people already mentioned different editors such as scite, pspad, notepad++ etc.. I don't see the advantages of notepad2 ...

You sound like that Ulrik guy "i'm a paying customer". Dude you are not a paying customer, it's not a subscription. You only pay once for the licence to use SS 2.0 the key can also be used on 2.5 (including beta) Read this link http://www.altap.cz/purchase_sal.html Same like the windows os...

How fast ALTAP work on their application is their own business and not yours (referring to the two guests). I think you should speak for yourself and not for the others while you don't seem to have the patience to wait for the final release. Pro users might not need documentation but new users certa...

To me it's not a feature i would (often) use. I think you like to keep a note on every setup.exe with the same name. To me it's better to rename the setup.exe to the application name and put all the installers in an install dir.
