Confirmation dialog on doube-click multiple selected files
I did this terrible scenario couple of times. Last time being just now, while trying to move ~30 PDF files, and thought to suggest addition to "Confirmations" configuration dialog. Perhaps, make it off by default but allow user preference of double checking this potentially catastrophic be...

Re: UI too outdated
Sure roman2, I'm hoping for Unicode solution too. I don't think that one excludes the other, but I was curious what's the relationship between two projects.
Thanks Jan for your explanation

Re: UI too outdated
I remembered this thread, and have a question which I think is better suited here then in new thread. Latest available AS version (3.0 beta), doesn't have any change in regards to UI. Just today I had to get a list of files (with pattern search) from FTP server, and I know FTP plugin can't search re...

Re: Automation Script Contest: 3 Free Salamander Licenses
VirusTotal Python automation script : view or download Uses standard Python libraries VirusTotal has been recently acquired by Google, so it's here to stay. Script allows virus check of suspected file, without opening browser or uploading contents. It calculates check-sum and communicates through V...

Re: Any way to user defined FTP search engines?
As I couldn't find working Archie server with GET method, I focused on filesearching module, and found almost identical service: http://www.freewareweb.com/ftpsearch.shtml Server uses ftpsearch.pl script, and from the contents of search results and parameters it seems like it's same service as files...

Re: Any way to user defined FTP search engines?
Too bad, it integrates just fine with FTP plugin In the meantime I found one working Archie server: http://archie.icm.edu.pl/archie_eng.cgi but unfortunately in does not accept GET request, but works just in POST It would be great if anyone replies with working Archie server, or help in changing req...

Re: Any way to user defined FTP search engines?
I opened both libraries (from ftpsearch plugin, parser folder) 1. Archie None of provided (commented) Archie hosts works (from 1253 rcdata resorce) I'll check later if I can find working one with Google, and provide working plugin to others. 2. Filesearch Problem with filesearch engine can be solved...

Any way to user defined FTP search engines?
Hi, FTP search plugin is great, but it doesn't work anymore unfortunately. You just provide 2 engines, and as time goes by, those aren't working anymore, and there is no option for user intervention. By intervention, I mean the same as you can do in any browser search bar, by defining your search en...

Re: How to avoid trailing slash in User menu Path arguments?
I solved this problem in regards to external program, but I'm still interested if it's possible to pass folder w/o trailing backslash I don't see why it should be like this, as even in scenario when user wants to pass several "tied" arguments, one can always type backslash, while option to...

How to avoid trailing slash in User menu Path arguments?
I want to pass current folder to external program, but AS arguments $(Path), $(FullPath), ... have trailing backslash, which program rejects as not valid folder
Can I pass folder name w/o trailing backslash through AS User menu (w/o writing separate script for it)?

I also share thereube's thoughts
Icons look as they should with current UI elements
And archives icon, as mentioned, is very similar to folder icon (on Windows 7)

Re: GodMode toolbar button
You can create handy folder, then from Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C} copy all item there. It will create shortcuts in that folder to all items from Mode.{###}

Re: Automation Script Contest: 3 Free Salamander Licenses
The Salamander object is not available outside the Automation script, it's only accessible through the Salamander global variable. You cannot instantiate it using Dispatch or any other mechanism the language provides. What are you trying to do? OK, thanks for information I was trying to run in frie...

Re: Automation Script Contest: 3 Free Salamander Licenses
Python Automation Script: "Imgur Upload.pys" Tested on Python 2.6.6. Should work with later Python version also. Python 2.5 would need "json" module IIRC Uses Standard Python Library, although http://sourceforge.net/projects/pywin32/ is needed for COM magic to work (or Active Py...
