Display problem files in a set of multiple file archives

When I uncompress multipart rar files and encounter an error in one or more parts, Salamander doesn't display in which of these parts the errors occurred, and I would like to know this in order to know which files to repair.

Unreliable and not user friendly FTP client

I transferred a lot of files from a web server to my PC and then from it to another web server and noticed some problems: - during the copying process I got lots of errors and my checking the checkbox for Salamander to remember the action for future similar problems didn't produce the desired effect...

It would be cool if I could simply set a flag to use a fault-tolerant mode of copy.

Is it possible to ensure correctness of files copied?

I've read people's stories about having corrupted files that were copied to external disks with corruption being caused by insufficient USB electricity supply, bad disks, etc. Is it possible to get Salamander to verify correctness of the files it copies (like some CD/DVD writing programs do)? If not...

its almost perfect ,except that the database is in registery and not in a file (which cant be portable) This is my gripe with it too. I don't get why some developers choose to us registry for it. Some other program I use recently switched to using registry. I think it's bad judgment. The settings c...

I started to use it because I wanted a two panel file manager. It can't be beat with Explorer type. Sometimes I tree view is very useful, but two panel views are best for copying/moving files. And then I got stuck with it because it's just beautiful and very stable. And has most features that I need...

Parameters in the Change Directory feature

I'd like to suggest a low priority feature: supporting parameters in the Change Directory feature. E.g., %systemroot%\Microsoft.NET\Framework.

Ctrl+p on XP

I was working on someone's computer with Windows XP yesterday and noticed a difference in how Ctrl+p is handled by Salamander 2.5 RC1 and 2.5. RC1 displayed the permission dialog, but 2.5 displayed the property dialog. Can anybody confirm this?

You are welcome. Then the question is this: why does Salamander display T and why doesn't it do it for all files and directories that have the N attribute?

File attribute -- N or T. Salamander seems confused.

I've just noticed something I haven't seen before. In the data directory of Skype on Vista there are several directories and files with an attribute N. That's according to Windows Explorer. However, Salamander shows only one file with a new (to me) attribute, T, but for a file for which Explorer dis...
