Re: End of support for Windows 2000, XP, Vista
No! I use XP (and Server 2003!) almost everyday, Vista only sometimes. It would be a PITA to have to carry around another Salamander version, next to the up-to-date x86 and x64 versions. And to remember the difference between the versions. Much better would be to only drop support for some (small) ...

Zoom out 8-bit images: use more colors
When I view an 8-bit (PNG) image using PictView, zooming out (to less than 100%) keeps using 8-bits colors. Using full 24-bit colors in that case would improve display quality dramatically.

Re: Pictview selection indicator
Check! It could be more prominent IMHO, but it works. Thanks!

Pictview selection indicator
The fact that Insert in Pictview selects the file viewed is very useful. It would be even nicer if the (non-fullscreen) Pictview window would have a small indicator showing whether the file is selected or not. Currently I have press F (focus) and switch back to check.

Mention file attributes on overwrite
When I move files to a place where they already exist, I now get a confirmation dialog like this: Confirm File Overwrite Overwrite file: B:\somepath\somefile 12.345, 04-04-2015, 12:12:12 With file: D:\otherpath\somefile 23.456, 05-05-2015, 18:18:18 It would be great if this would also contain the fi...

Warn for whatever|*
In the Find Files dialog, I accidentally typed (in Named): *.*|*.exe;*;dll. Searching did not give any results of course. My fault.
But... maybe Salamander could warn if I exclude *? As that would never give any results!

Re: Undelete scope? Or just directions?
You can't. Formatting has removed the directory entries, without which the Undelete plugin can't do anything. Undelete is for when files have been deleted.

Re: Cannot open any file
Do you run x86 (32-bit) Salamander on a x64 OS, by any chance? Or is Salamander elevated? Or started in some compatibility mode?
Your problem sounds very specific to your installation. I think you should ask your system administrator to have a look.

Allow sep=, in Database Viewer
I use the Database Viewer all the time, mainly to view delimited text files. It works great most of the time. But sometimes, it uses the incorrect Separator :(. For instance because I have Tabulator as the default instead of Auto-Select , as that's by far the most common one in the files I use and t...

Show Caret in viewer
I came across the "Show Caret" function in the File Comparator plugin. Very useful.
I think it would be as useful in the internal viewer!
Too bad the F2 shortcut is already taken. Any alternative shortcut (or even only a menu entry) would do.

WebP support in PictView
PictView currently does not understand WebP. IrfanView does. Google uses this format more and more and it looks technically superior to JPEG and such. What about supporting it natively in PictView? Google offers a library for that, so it shouldn't be too hard.

Re: File list export from Find Files & Directories
I didn't realize that, smart! I settled for: setlocal ENABLEDELAYEDEXPANSION&(if "!SA!"=="" set SA="%TEMP%\sa%RANDOM%")&for %%A in ("$(FullName)") do echo %%~aA[TAB]%%~tA[TAB]%%~zA[TAB]%%~A>>!SA!&clip <!SA! Note: Put the setlocal at the Command , t...
