Re: Deleting IMPOSSIBLE-TO-DELETE-FILES

1) Very long names of folders-files. Drilling down into the folder structure MIGHT help you discover the offending area. Everything (1.4.0.713b Beta): > path:len:>250 2) Attributes: H-idden, R-eadOnly, System, ... Not sure how H or R would stop anything? Maybe System? Certainly T. Windows-10 etc ha...

Re: Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data

Right, that part I understand. Back to the "guid" strings. Are they part & parcel of Win8, something to be expected? (I don't see anything like that on Win7 or earlier.) Then, are the directories, files, physically there, as named, in those locations. I'm betting that they are? That Salamander is no...

Re: Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data

And I'm confused now... Tried to search That's with "Find", Alt+F7 ? after that AS went to What do you mean "went to"? Screenshot That's a screenshot of what, Windows Explorer or...? And you got to that by ? opening the directory (to Windows Explorer) from within the Find dialog? What version of Sal...

Re: Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data\Application Data

> \AppData\ > \Application Data\ So you're searching \AppData\ but what's being returned is \Application Data\ (of some sort)? In Everything (1.4 beta), a search for: > E:\Users\RUBEN\AppData\Local application Does see the link (junction), E:\Users\RUBEN\AppData\Local\Application Data, but that's th...

Re: Find Files List

Select those you want...

Copy, then paste elsewhere.

I'd think most anything available on a context-menu, open-with, send-to would work too.
May run into issues if you have too many selected (as in won't be able to pass XX number of names to a particular application, kind of thing)?

Re: No files are matching in Batch Rename

(
btw docfxit: you replaced the screenshots
Ah, so he did.
And because the screenshot is hosted externally, & because its [external] name remained the same, there was no need to "modify" anything here on this board, so there is no "modified" indicator in the original thread.
Neat.

Re: No files are matching in Batch Rename

You inadvertently hit the F7 key, which says to [only] show 'Successfully Renamed Files'. Try the F6 key instead. Your wanting to view [only] the files that will be renamed, prior to renaming them is logical. Wonder why that option isn't there. (With a huge list of files, like you're apt to come up ...

Well, I'll confirm the issue with the particular .jpg.

Re: File Comparator - Easier Copy Selected Lines

Bump & add. On a binary file, it would be nice to be able to copy a "textual representation" of the file contents. As in, any copy operation quits when it hits a null byte ($00$). So what I want to copy is: 00 00 00 00 00 40 02 08 00 If I start my copy operation at the first $00$, I end up with noth...

Re: False Directory Seen with 7-zip Plugin

Guess I wasn't too clear on that. One the download page, Windows:, they have both an .exe.7z "installer", & a -portable.7z. It was the latter that I downloaded [Descargar] (& the 32-bit version at that), awgg-0.5.0-win32-portable.7z. and even the 7-Zip GUI file manager shows an empty folder for the ...
