I'm a bit of a network novice but an old registered Salamander fan.
I just got a newer PC and need to transfer folders from the old to the new one.
This would be ideal if I could use Salamander!

Re: Is Salamander dead?
I found out why. I had put the new drive on the dock, and hadn't initialized and formatted it. It sees it now, but only after I reboot with it running. I thought before that all I had to do was turn the dock on, but could be wrong. It was over a year ago when I used it last.
Thanks, people.

Re: Is Salamander dead?
I don't even know what all those features that you mentioned are. I just like the program itself, but it apparently isn't recognizing my Esata BlacX cloning drive dock anymore, and I don't know why.

I'm concerned about this topic too. No updates since when? 2016?

Re: Copy/Move/Delete etc. on External SDcard on Android Devi
Hi I've been working with Salamander for many years and I am very happy with it. About a year ago, I added a Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy SIII) and a Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2), which connect to my PC via WLan. Salamander works perfectly between PC and the two Android devices' internal memory... I...
