Incorrect display of PNG image in Thumbnails and PictView

Here's the image: http://dlaa.me/FeedWorm/NetworkError.png Save it to disk. In thumbnails view it appears as a black square - same for PictView. Neither is correct. Windows Photo Viewer, Paint, Internet Explorer, and paint.net all show it correctly as an 'X' with a transparent background. FYI, this ...

I see the same behavior when I try this again. I used the Win7 problem report creation tool to generate attached file WrongDefaultDirectory.zip which contains a series of screenshots demonstrating the problem. Note that I first do a checksum in the AAA directory (where the path is correct), then I d...

Sorry, Jan, I'll test again tomorrow to make sure I'm not crazy. Platform was Windows 7 Beta 1 x86. Maybe I'll use the new "bug recorder" in there to capture some screenshots and try to prove my claim. :)

Checksum plug-in no longer defaults to saving in same dir

In 2.51, the checksum plugin would default to saving the .md5 file in the same directory as whatever file you'd just computed the hash for. In 2.52b1, it seems to default to the last directory you saved something in - which is typically not what you want. Would be nice to have the previous behavior ...

Consistent read error for sector of file in UDF ISO

Using the ISO file for Windows 7 Beta x64 (en_windows_7_beta_dvd_x64_x15-29074.iso, SHA1=E09FDBC1CB3A92CF6CC872040FDAF65553AB62A5, available from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/subscriptions/downloads/default.aspx), try to copy file [UDF]\sources\install.wim to a directory on your disk. I see a con...

UnISO doesn't seem to properly detect UDF file system of ISO

From the bottom of http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/ I downloaded http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=104679 which gave me VS2008ExpressENUX1397868.iso with MD5 d2334dbba7313e9abc8c7c072d2af09c. Opening that file in Salamander 2.5 seems to show only the (nearly empty) ISO file-system and...

Yes, you have fixed the problem - thank you! I'm glad you were able to correct this so easily. :) For what it's worth, the proxy server I'm behind is most likely Microsoft's ISA Server, so I think you've probably just improved FTP Client for a whole bunch of users. Thank you again!

As you probably expected, the attempt to connect by IP fails immediately. I'm happy to test a proposed fix! FTP server address: 1.2.3.4, port: 21, user: DOMAIN\USER Proxy server name: PROXY, type: SOCKS 4A Proxy server address: PROXY, port: 1080, user: Connecting to "PROXY" (123.123.123.12...

Here's a log of Core FTP Lite ( http://www.coreftp.com/ ) successfully making a connection from the same machine on which Salamander fails. I've sanitized the logs again (using the same conventions as before) because I don't want to give out IP addresses/configuration of the location I'm trying from...

Sorry - I guess I should have made it more obvious that I sanitized the machine names, IP addresses, and account information. The real IP returned is NOT 1.2.3.4, but IS in the "dotted 4" pattern for expressing numeric IP addresses. Switching from PASV to PORT will not work as the proxy wi...

Sorry, I don't understand the question. I'm using the FTP Client plug-in that comes with Salamander 2.5 RC2. When no proxy is needed, it works fine with the site. When a SOCKS 4A proxy is used, it breaks. The fact that the login works with the proxy suggests to me that the LIST should, too, though I...

FTP Client has trouble running LIST behind SOCKS 4A proxy

The complete log is below. Note that it's able to get out through the proxy okay for login to the site, but when it comes time to do the PASV LIST command, it fails. Maybe the proxy doesn't like being given the IP address instead of an FQDN?? FTP server address: www.AAAA.org, port: 21, user: DOMAIN\...

PostScript file fails to render properly

http://bachue.com/spambot/spambot.ps

With Eroiica Viewer and Salamander RC1, all 49 pages look the same (a partial rendering of page 1).
