Launching files does not work (too deep in directories?)
I have discovered a strange thing: launching files by their Windows extension does not work in some deep directories in RecycleBin. For example, I have a file text.txt located in D:\$RECYCLE.BIN\S-1-5-21-2681313834-3529579126-203007806-1000\$REVVUWW\ - pressing 'Enter' on this file opens the associa...

PictView crashes on *.bmp (64-bit)
Altap Salamander 3.02 (x64) - PictView does not open any *.bmp files: error message says "Could not open file ***.BMP; Could not load PictView process". After that, that same message appears when trying to open any picture (jpg, gif etc.) - and when exiting Salamander there is a message ab...

Re: PE Viewer Enhancement
Sure, it could as well be a new little viewer to be used instead of PE viewer with *.exe files.
At least for me, there is nothing I can use or understand there now.

Re: PE Viewer Enhancement
Well, for me it would be better to see this information either at the very beginning, or placed instead of all other things. Sorry, I have no idea what are all those headers for - and information about different DLLs is too abundant for requested features to be placed at the end of existing document...

Re: PE Viewer Enhancement
I suuport that feature request as well.
'File version' and 'Product version' are two *.exe properties most useful for me, and I can see them only with Windows Explorer's right-clicking and going further to details, while PE Viewer could provide more comfortable and easy way to get that information.

Re: Viewers Improvements
Sorry, I won't bother you any more here.
But could you please at least tell if some of those improvements are actually possible.

Re: Viewers Improvements
Jan Rysavy, I think that's different problem - McLion had 3.0 installed and the plugin did not show 3.01 as already available for him.
I have 3.01 installed, so no new modules are detected (which is correct), but the plugin still says I have 2.54 installed (which is incorrect).

Re: Viewers Improvements
A couple of more wishes concerning the available native plugins: PictView - again, one of the best and most useful plugins, thanks! I could think only of *.svg format not supported by this viewer - maybe it would be possible to add it? CheckVer - a little one, and seldom used as this Forum has more ...

Viewers Improvements
While the Roadmap for Salamander 3.* looks promising, especially with the long-awaited Unicode support, there are other useful features that could be added. It just does not feel right that Total Commander has most of those features, and Altap Salamander does not :( For me that mostly concerns plugi...

Re: Letters of empty drive units
Oh, then there are such programs as USB drive letter manager, or (the one I use) USB safely remove - they work much better than Windows Explorer.

Re: Letters of empty drive units
There is an option 'Select drives that should be visible' there - in 'Options' - 'Configuration' - 'Change Drive Menu...'

Re: 64 bit version?
Jan Rysavy , could you please tell the difference between x86 and x64 versions of Altap Salamander in simple words and put it somewhere on this site written in big letters? :) I was able to find only one paragraph about that here , but that was located quite deep in 'Support' section. I think that ...
