Thanks for the suggestions. I suggest you add (yet another) entry to your user menu toolbar pointing to a suitable script which creates the file and possibly launches your editor. Yes your right, we can use e.g. this AHK script: #IfWinActive,ahk_class SalamanderMainWindowVer16 !n:: ;Point a file in ...

Shift+F4... use name-part from selected file

I often use Shift+F4 to create new text files. Most text files should become the same name as an *.EXE file. e.g. Setup-v2.0. exe ==> Setup-v2.0. txt Therefor i have to copy the name of the EXE to the clipboard and paste it back into the "Edit new file" dialog. Then i have to modify the extension to...

User menu: items not visible

2.5 RC1 I have alot of user menu items. If there are more items then i have place in the menu line then the right most one's are not visible any more. I think we need here "two arrows" to scroll horizontally. I guess the same for the hot paths menu line. And yes, i will try to use more submenus :lol:

@maiser If you need a quick workaround only you may try SUBST. If you have D:\AVeryLongLongLongLongLongLong\Long\Path\WithSubFolders\filename.ext you could use in the DOS-Box C:\>subst X: " D:\AVeryLongLongLongLongLongLong\Long\Path " Then you can access filename.ext as X:\ WithSubFolders\filename.e...

Thanks for the reply. If i understand correctly keymapping adjustment would allow me to change the hotkey that starts "cmd.exe" and not the actual program itself (maybe i misunderstood). If Altap implement the remapping the way i would expect this you should be able to adjust the keymaps as you lik...

HI,
there is no keymapping adjustment right now, but planed though.

Do you know/use AHK?

Here is a workaround:
#IfWinActive,ahk_class SalamanderMainWindowVer16
NumpadDiv:: run notepad
RETURN
Replace 'notepad' with your "Console.exe "
