ICON vertical space problem

Can anyone tell me how I can increase the vertical space between the file icons?
I have had to increase font size to be able to see the letters... old age is the pits... :)
and now all text on the second line is cut off.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!!! .... MY error.... I forgot you can not create a share to \mnt and have it report correct disk info !! ---You can read everything below the \mnt , but disk info is for that point only.

Just to let you know... with Alt-F installed on the DNS-323 it can handle 4TB drives !!!

The server is a Dlink DNS 323 upgraded to Alt-F software.. Only on the server drives report incorrect information, Operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate. I correctly access the drives through Windows 7 as network attached drives..... The drives are attached as network drives on Salamander. I can ...

Salamander is showing 29MB of space remaining on all of my server drives while there is TB's available on each drive.
Example,, one drive properties show 1.54TB..?. while when I try to use the drive it says I have 29MB
The result is that I can no longer move files to any drive because Salamander is ...

NEW INFORMATION

I changed my motherboard settings from OPTIMAL to STANDARD .

Now I can SOMETIMES get the ORIGINAL file "ss25rc2f.exe" to extract and install correctly with no errors.

This is the FIRST time I have been able to do this with the original .exe file since my reformat and reinstall ...

Good point! We are using this nice memory test: http://www.memtest.org/ with prebuild ISO images http://www.memtest.org/#downiso but I don't want to bother Anne anymore :)

Anne, I'm sorry, I forgot 7-Zip is not able to skip self-extractor header (find archive signature).


As I said before, when I change the extension to 7z and extract the files using the STANDARD version of Salamander, The file that shows an error is the Salamand.exe file. Clicking OK on the error ...

I installed 7-Zip 4.42

Performed a 7-Zip "TEST", "OPEN", and "EXTRACT" on the files
ss25rc2f.exe and ss25rc2f.7z

The result of ALL operations was the message
(filename.ext) is not a supported archive

I did the via chipset thing, and the bios is up to date.

NO difference. Still get the "error in compressed stream" when trying to exexcute the file.


HOW can the file be corrupted ?
It installs correctly with no problems on an XP machine ?????
