Thank you for your reply. My settings are already as you recomended, i.e. for Polish language (see the previously attached screenshot).

I would like to kindly ask for advice on what else I can do to get proper display of Polish characters such as ł, ó, ć, etc.
Attached are some screenshots of my Windows 11 settings and the results in AS.
Interestingly, when I use F2 to rename a file, the quick-rename window shows the characters ...
