Because it's a link to a directory and therefore behaves as one. mhh ...I agree, but I think it should be named as "Link" in the Salamander Window (like Total Commander does), a not as "Directory" because it's no directory, only behaves as one .... I can see it now on the icon, ...

That was it!Anyway, is there any other aspect to the difference of links and directories you expected to see, other than their icon?

But why does Altap Salamander mark a Link as a Directory? (in difference to Total Commander - Picture 1)

Altap Salamander 2.54 displays Links in Windows 7 as Directorys. E.g. Documents and Settings.
Is that a bug?
