Dear Experts,

One more humble request from me.
How do I make the following rename change?
Replace this "-(textwithinbrackets).mp3" with ".mp3"?
I want to get rid of "-(textwithinbrackets)".

Example:
Doyle, A C_Silver Blaze_BBC_1992-(edited).mp3
>
Doyle, A C_Silver Blaze_BBC_1992.mp3

The text ...

Looks like my system is the culprit.
When I turn on my computer the delay is hardly noticeable.
In the afternoon, the delay gets longer.

Seems I'm working too much! )

Dear Community,

Is there a way to use the Rename function in the following way?

I want to do a pretty easy search and replace action (replace "colon" with "colon and space").
So far no problems.

Example:

[OLD FILENAME]
Doyle,A C_A Study in Scarlet, Part 1_BBC_1989.mp3

[OLD FILENAME]
Doyle, A C ...

Could you please test older versions? (Install it to some temporary directory.)
AS 2.51: ftp://ftp.altap.cz/pub/altap/salamand/as251.exe

Same delay problems with 2 ...

Not sure, but I guess it started with 2.52 (Beta).

Tim, what about operations such as View File or Change Attributes?

Please try to disable Options > Configuration > Icon Overlays > Display custom icon overlays option.
