Re: No icon for office files
Thank you SvA.
Office 365 16.0.11231.20164 32-bits
AS 3.08 64-bits (tried 32-bit, but no change)
Also I created a doc and xls, but the problem remained. The station is protected with bitlocker, but that is the case for more than one year.

No icon for office files
After the most recent reset of Windows all office files (xlsx, docx, accd, etc) are shown as unknown files.
The strange thing however is that a csv file has the proper Excel icon. Rereading associations or reinstalling Salamander has had no effect.
Could anybody tell me how I can get the icons back?

Re: OneDrive disappeared from drive bar/menu W7
Thanks a lot! That fixed it. Thanks for reporting this! I have fixed it. MS has just renamed key in registry: SkyDrive to OneDrive in key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft. You can bypass this problem temporarily in your Windows: add REG_SZ value UserFolder to abadoned key (it's empty on my Windo...

OneDrive disappeared from drive bar/menu W7
For unknown reasons OneDrive disappeared form the drive bar/menu on my Windows 7 machine (Salamander 3.06). Tried a clean installation of both , but without result.
Can the OneDrive icon be added manually or is there an other fix to get it back?

Filter files as in Explorer detailed view
In the detailed view of the Windows Explorer you can filter files on name, date, type and size.
I grew to like this feature so much that I start to miss it in my favoriete tool. Is there any chance that it will be added to an update soon?

I saw this problem when I tried to download some file with Firefox and then shred it. The workaround which works is: Rename the downloaded_file.zip (example) to downloaded_file.zip.part - because the original name of this file when downloading was with .part extension, then Firefox renamed it. This...

Is it fixed?
Can you tell me wether this is already fixed or if there is a work-around (other then deleting the streams via sysinternals)?Jan Rysavy wrote:We can reproduce this problem now, thank you for reporting it!
