Save Configuration
I'm now using version 4.0, although I am a paid up user from long ago. With this new version, the "Save Configuration" menu item does not work. Whatever state I left the program in is what I see when I restart the program!
Thanks, Bill
Thanks, Bill

It looks like it would be necessary to copy files from your player to desktop computer in the MTP mode, empty the player, switch it to MSC and copy files back.
OK, I gave this a try. Since I keep a full Clip+ backup ...

Re: Additional devices I'd like to see in Salamander!
My Sansa Clip shows up in Salamander just fine, I don't think that Clip+ would be any different. Please make sure that it is set to connect as a mass storage device (MSC in Settings->USB Mode), not media player (MTP).
I suspect that the digital camera would be the same case, with the difference ...

I'm using 2.53b2, although what I'm reporting has always been true: All of my hardware devices appear in Salamander except for two: a SanDisk Clip+ MP3 player (like iPod), and one of my 2 digital ...

I installed 2.52b1 and just finished about 5 minutes of testing. The problem is NOT solved, but it is a little better. To test I started up the program 10 times, running it in Administrative Mode on my Vista SP1 PC. The startup directories had only GIFs and JPG's in it. 8 of the times none of the ...

I am a registered user of Salamander and am now running version 2.51. Suddenly, some of my file associations went away, most notably the JPG association. Interestingly enough, double clicking on the JPG file in Salamander caused the correct program (Irfanview) to run, but the icon is wrong ...
