Re: Quick view
Thank you for the linkKNUT wrote:Perhaps another tool can help you: Textview
But I would rather prefer to have one tool for file managing than a small zoo of different programs.
Quick view is a standard feature in other Salamander's competitor and I was wondering where it is in this product.

'My Computer' folder
I did not find in user manual and this forum: how to open 'My computer' level in Salamander?
address like {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D} is not acceptable from Hot paths menu
Any other ideas how I can reach 'My computer' in panel view?

Quick view
I am new with Salamander and wandering if this file manager has 'quick view' option: option to see the contest of the selected file at the opposite panel instead of opening separate window.
Can you help me to find this option?

From the user (my) perspective the Altap Salamander's support is perfect and Altap is typically responding very quickly to raised problems. On the other hand Salamander's development is slower then users would like it to be. This is price for the high quality of the product. If you look through the...

We tried it, as other competitors. I remember it was SLOW. It is no longer developed? Developers of Frigate do not provide any support or bug fixing for registered users since previous summer. One of the comment at the closed Frigate forum from developers was the Frigate project is already dead. I ...

How new is your file
I am testing Servant Salamander as a possible standard file manager for our department. At present time I am using Frigate 3.35 (unfortunately, project is dead now) file manager and there is one option that I am really missing in Salamander and like in Frigate: in Frigate all file & folders that...
