Did you install Salamander "as administrator"?

Yes I did, I installed it from a "User" account via "Run as" as administrator. I wouldnt suppose however that this would really make a difference.
However I just tried it on another machine and couldnt ...

I am not sure whether this is already a known issue but I didnt find it mentioned. I just installed version 2.5 and noticed that the Eroiica and WinSCP plugins are only available if the application was started as Administrator.
On another issue, WinSCP reports to run in Evaluation mode ...
