SQX Archiver
SQX is free, fast and very efficient archiver, better than 7-zip. SpeedCommander, EF Commander and Total Commander can already handle it. I will be glad to see in Altab Salamander (even only unpacking for now). Would it be possible?

5 years old project of Sven Ritter and Rainer Nausedat.
LZ77-based compressor with upto 4MB dictionaries with special modes for IA64 executables, WAV files and multimedia in general.
Standard Adler32 CRC. AES/Rijndael and Blowfish encryption.
MD5-based password hashing.
Apparently there are 2 versions of the SQX format. Source code and full documentation is available only for version 1.
There is only 400KB DLL for version 2 available.

Total Commander plugin utilize this DLL (sqx20.dll). Speed Commander utilize other dll (CxSqx61u.dll) which is its own data compression engine.
