@kretb yes they have open sourced it so the next release of Salamander 5 will be from that GitHub project and known as OpenSalamander!

As a die hard Salamander user since 1998 I am passionate about keeping it alive. I have read this whole thread and I have to say as an avid Open Source developer I have some thoughts I hope that get considered... Issue: ALTAP states the source code is "old C code and not up to modern standards ...

It looks like the win scp developer just posted recently and it sounds like he is working on 64 bit

Any update on this? It looks like WinSCP was finally able to compile 64 bit version using the latest C++ Builder?

I would love to have this plugin back in the 64 bit Salamander!

Why not create a Hot Path for it? Hot Paths are displayed on the bottom of the drive selection menu. I do have a hotpath for it but on every single machine I set up with Salamander I have to create this Hotpath. I would love it if it just knew I had Dropbox and put the custom icon there with shortc...
