Re: files heading with a "." in 2.52
You are perfectly right, my fault. Now I can confirm Agam's observation.

Could it be that the file was still partially cached when you copied it with Total Commander? I copied a 574 MB file from a heavily fragmented partition to another partition on the same harddrive in 80 s (yes, only 7 MB/s). After deleting it on the destination partition and copying it immediately ag...

Again: Bug in 7z-plugin?
Hello Altap-Team,
I'm sure that there are more important tasks for you than fixing the 7z-plugin. But it would be nice if you could simply confirm that this is a bug that doesn't appear on my system only (WinXP Home, SP2 with recent updates).
Best wishes

7z-Plugin: Incorrect testing of archives
Hello, the 7z-plugin provides a " Test Archive " function. This function seems to be faulty because it tends to tell that an archive is o.k. even if it is not. An example can be found in the attached file: The archive " 7ztest.zip " contains three files: BGB.txt (original text-fi...

Thanks for this plugin. :D I use it with the TC Canon camera plugin (Powershot A95). Copy time for 24 files of 50.538.267 bytes total is 1:50, approx. 459 kB/s. Not too bad for a real-life USB 1.1 connection. The 'Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard' is faster (1:30, both in advanced user's mode and...

Hi frax, this might be a solution for your problem: 1) Download and install the powerful freeware autoit3 ( http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3 ). This will do no harm to your system. The extension .au3 will be associated with autoit afterwards. If you don't want to install the whole package: The on...

Thank you, Altap Team!
Altap Salamander 2.5 final is available! I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your great work, for endless days (and probably nights) of development and debugging, of dealing with user requests and for continuously optimizing Altap Salamander. I hope that you will have the economical success ...

I like it the way it is now in RC3. For copying filenames I use Alt+Shift+Insert. Copying filenames with F2 - Ctrl+C (and inserting the filename elsewhere with F2 - Ctrl+V) still works as before as long as the file-extensions of the source file and the destination file match. Salamander already has ...

Unselect all by accidentally clicking right
From time to time I have to select several files that cannot be selected en bloc because they are not related by name, size or date, e.g. in a download folder. I may even have to have a look at the file contents prior to selecting the file. Therefore the selection process may take some time in this ...

Consistent results of case changes in filenames
I would like to point out the different results of case changes in filenames that you get using Files - Change case - Partially mixed case on the one hand and Plugins - Batch Rename - Mixed case on the other hand. Imagine the following filename: bachman-turner overdrive (you ain't seen nothing yet)....

Re: Zooming in PictView with mouse-wheel
There might be already an answer to this feature request in the Czech forum. But just in case:
If you don't mind pressing an additional key:
Strg(CTRL)+mousewheel works, only the zooming behaviour is a bit different.
